My name is Daniel Solano. I was born in Colombia, but have lived in Los Angeles since I was 12. I've been a photographer for over 6 years now.
I work in Film and TV production in the lighting and camera departments, as well as a photographer. Film work and photography are my two dearest passions, and I'm never happier than I am on the job or on set.
I work on both a mirrorless Sony digital system, and 35mm and medium format analog film. I shot on film for years and learned all I know about photography on a completely analog, non-automatic 35mm Nikon, a difficult but rewarding endeavor. I feel completely comfortable working at a high level on both digital and analog mediums, and most of the time I leave that decision to the client or the subject.
